I have a theory

that if you act like you know everything about music, or act like a music snob.......people will eventually listen to you. I promise to try my hardest NOT to become one of those people who just talk for the sake of being listened to. I really care about music and I want to be as honest as possible in my opinions or others opinions and also truths.

p.s. The KT Tunstall song I love turns out to be one of the biggest christmas songs in the UK and I had no clue. It's just another bit of knowledge that makes me realize how little knowledge I have.
The BBC also censored the beloved song for using the term "faggot".
the BBC never sensors anything, so to start here baffles me.
It seems as if political correctness will someday take over the world.

Sleigh Ride

christmas is knocking at all of our doors.
the crisp wind is hitting our faces reminding us of the warm fireplaces waiting patiently for us in our homes.
The familiar sounds giving us that fuzzy feeling.
All of these things are part of the tradition, but every once in awhile we come across something new.
I have recently discovered KT Tunstall's Christmas cd.
There are many traditional songs but there is one song that is original and I know I will be listening to it every year to come.
It is named "Fairytale Of New York".
I am in love with it.

Basically the theme today is female artists

1st Britney Spears.
I know you all hate her...but I think she's great. I only downloaded 4 songs off her new cd but they are all good. So what if her personal life sucks.
I mean that isn't good for her but at least she can get the music part right.

2nd KT Tunstall.
My mom got me her christmas cd. It's quite good, and cheerful. She has a great voice and a great background story. She seems like a very interesting person. i would like to meet her someday

3rd Brandi Carlile
She sounds a lot like kt but more country.
anyway I am obsessed with her song "What Can I say"

I thought that all of the sudden she came out with 1234, and it was genius....but really she has been a genius all along. I know their are some people who don't love it. I don't really care because I DO love it.
